Hello Thunderbird Families,

February 28, 2023

All Student transportation canceled, all schools are open

Due to the current road conditions, ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES operated by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board are canceled.

All Public and Catholic Schools are OPEN.

All Extended Day Childcare Programs are OPEN.

St. Louis online, daytime, and evening classes are open at all locations

If you are dropping your student off please know we dismiss grades 1-8 at the back of the school. Do not come to the front of the school to pick your child/ren up.  We dismiss at 3:40.  All special needs children that take special transportation will be dismissed at the front of the school.  All kindergarten students will be dismissed at their usual spot. Thanks.

Hello Thunderbird Families,

Unfortunately, due to poor weather conditions and the fact that the weather is to get worse as the night continues, we will be postponing our presentation with Vicki Olatundun.  We will be rescheduling this event as she is an amazing speaker that you do not want to miss.  Once we have the date confirmed we will let you know.  Thanks so much for your understanding.

Hello Thunderbird Community,

St. Daniel school is looking to hire a permanent Lunch Hour Supervisor.

You must be:

• 18 Years of Age or older
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada

The Salary is between $22.20 – $23.46 per hour and will be required to work one hour a day.
