Tomorrow (Thursday February 15th) is the big day of our dance-a-thon fundraiser! For tomorrow only, cash will be accepted for any last minute purchases of raffle tickets, glow items, or Nutrition for Learning lollipops and bracelets.
Thank you for all of your support so far! We are excited for fun-filled day of dancing and raising money for our Thunderbird Nest!
Hello Families,
On February 13th our St. Daniel school community will be enjoying Shrove (Pancake) Tuesday. We have a long standing tradition in our Thunderbird community of enjoying pancakes together. Our grade 8 students alongside Mrs. McConnell will be honouring the tradition of making and serving pancakes for our school.
To help with waste, we are asking for families to send in a non-breakable plate and utensils for their child. You can send these in a Ziploc bag or baggie of some sort that will be sent back home that day.
Additionally, if you do not want your child to participate in eating pancakes, please let your child’s teacher know.
Thanks for helping us with this part of the Shrove Tuesday celebration. During Lent we will continue our work as faith filled people focusing on sharing our gifts with others and being of service. Thanks again for your support with the utensils and plates for Shrove Tuesday.

Hello Families,
Our dance-a-thon fundraiser is coming fast. A reminder to only collect pledges from family and friends. For safety, please do not go door to door.
We can’t wait to see all the fun at the dance, and we will announce the top pledge winners and raffle basket winners in an assembly the next day.
Please note that at this time of year, our field is unfortunately a mud pit. We close the field as much as possible but let’s help one another and remind our kids to stay out of the mud.
Spirt Wear has closed and we will process orders soon with the supply company.
